It was
after my first year of high school that I decided that I wanted to serve God on
the mission field as a pilot and now I am finally heading toward that goal!
Last October I was able to fly at the controls of an airplane for the first
time! I flew with four others to visit the JARRS and Wycliffe home base in
North Carolina!
I know
that God has given me a passion for flying on the Mission field and has allowed
me to go to Liberty University to earn a degree met some wonderful people, took
great classes, and realized just how much I need to trust in God!
I can’t
help but look ahead at what God has in store for me next year. This fall I will
be starting my sophomore year at Liberty University. I will be a prayer leader
for my hall, a part of the leadership for our school’s mission aviation group,
and working on getting my private pilot certificate! It will be a busy year!
I’m
writing this letter because I have begun my journey toward the mission field. As
long as I can remember I have felt God calling me to the mission field and,
although I may not be there for another six or eight years, it will be a
challenging journey. So I am writing to you all, my friends and
family, asking that you would support me with prayer and encouragement. I would love to keep in contact with you all and keep you updated
on what is happening along the journey. Because of this I have decided to send
out a prayer letter every year. If your not on my list and would like to be, please send me a message and let me know!
